How to improve your jumping!

Hey there, I hope you’re doing awesome!
Today I want to give you a fantastic video training tip
that will help you build up leg power and learn how
to perform single leg squats or “Pistol Squats” as they
are also called. 
 
On my recent trip to Las Vegas I had the opportunity to
train ad some of the best training facility’s around. 
Randy Couture’s “Xtreme Couture and also 
Wanderlei Silva’s “MMA Gym”   
 
Both unbelievable gyms with awesome training atmosphere!
 
During one of my workouts I even got to meet Randy Couture himself!
There was some really neat equipment and I was able to
try some killer new exercises. 
 
In this video posted on my blog you can see me 
demonstrate some 3 foot box jumps for high reps,
and even a single leg jump onto a Plyo box!
(First time I tried that!)
 

In the video I also share a really cool exercise that you can
use to build up to doing single leg pistol squats, if you’re not able
to do them yet!

Personal Best Has a New Fitness Coach!


I am super excited to announce that I have further strengthened my personal fitness coaching services with the addition of the talented Personal Trainer, Alex Morris.


Alex was born 1988 and grew up in St. John’s, NL. He graduated high school from Holy Heart of Mary in 2006. Since then he has been attending Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador by studying Business Commerce (co-op). Throughout the years he has been involved in a variety of sports, such as Hockey, Swimming, Soccer, Baseball, Wrestling, and so on. Alex has been heavily involved in fitness his whole life and was introduced to weightlifting at the age of 12 to better his sports performance; this rapidly grew into a long-lasting lifestyle. As his interests grew even further, Alex began volunteering for an online fitness community, Free Workout Guides, and the Running Room. He has now opened his own online fitness community, Fitness Info Online (www.fitnessinfoonline.com), and plans to take his fitness career to the next level by working with pro fitness trainer Andy Pratt out of the Personal Best Fitness Studio.
